Whirlpool G2P DWI. I had a problem with a perished small hose on the circulating pump which I have managed to repair. However to effect the repair I had to remove the heater sleeve from the front of the pump. There appears to be a small ridge on the inside of the heater inlet on the pump which has been damaged. When I reconnect the pump/heater sleeve it leaks from that joint. Is there a sealing compound I can use to stop this drip?

Very unlikely TBH, it’s not an inlet to the pump, its an outlet which means the water is at a considerably high pressure.

Does the pump look like this?

If it does then the only surefire cure is replacement

    😕

Thats the pump. Askoll M95. I suppose you are right about replacing the thing but by the time I have paid almost £100 for it I may as well get a new dish washer. The thing is only three years old. Thanks for the advice.
