WHIRLPOOL MATAG PCB DOES IT COME PROGRAMMED

Hi gents
have a admiral american style f/freezer as comp will not run but internal fan does have 240v goes to comp for 2secs when plugged in pcb??(fitted one) now have 0 and 0 on diplay when pressed to temp number only side part of the 0 flashes on both buttons nothing running does this mean that it is not been programmed ordered from connect and there web site does not say that so i thought it would come prgrammed part number of pcb is 482000012764 model number is GC2224gekb urgently need help on this one hope someone can reply asap comp runs if i run 240v to it so i would assume pcb cheers alro

The PCB has to be programmed.

To program it open the fridge door then hold the door light switch, at the same time press the freezer temperature down – button three times .

Release the door switch the display should then show P E to show program mode.

To confirm program mode you then have to press the freezer temperature down button 1 more time this time without holding the light switch.

You then have to set the 2 digit code on the rating plate.

To set the code you have to press the temperature up + key on the fridge and freezer control until it displays the code.

Once the desired code is displayed press the freezer down – key and hold it down until the code flashes showing the code has been saved.
If it is an invalid code it will flash 0 0 and you have to start again.

If the new PCB is a different Jazz number then the code on the rating plate will not work.
You will then have to use a default code 05 or 15 should work.

code on rating plate is it 2 digits long 1 for freezer diplay 1 for fridge display
the old pcb has JAZZ 15 the one i got is JAZZ 14
default code 0 or 1 in freezer display 5 in fridge display
then hold freezer down key until flashing to save it cheers alan

Yes default codes 0 freezer 5 fridge or 1 freezer 5 fridge
