    I have a Whirlpool 1450 Spin AWM 8143/1

It has begun to stop before the final rinse and spin and show the message ‘FH’.

This happens on various programmes I’ve tried.

I have to set it to rinse and spin to finish the cycle.

    Can you help?

FH is a not filling error.

It soulds like the cold fill valve may have failed, check the water supply first though 😉

If you are investigating further, power off, or an engineer should be able to be found in repairs@ if you’re unsure.

Thanks Dave. Is cold valve easy to fix if that is the problem? I’m not very practical but willing to try if it is relatively straight forward.

    Pretty straightforward really.

Please remember though I am only making an assumtion, should you purchase the valve and fit it but the problem remains, it’s circa £35 so it could prove more costly than asking an engieeer to attend and diagnose 😉

Power off please if you are going to have a look :zap:

Before you start dismantling the machine check the position of the END of the outlet hose.
If it is too far down the standpipe the water can drain out by syphoning.
This gives the programmer the message that the machine has not filled hence the fault code FH.
    Good luck 🙂
