whirlpool on/ off switch query

hi i ordered a on/off switch for a whirlpool awm324/3 857031415010
when it arrived it different its got the correct pno on it (481227618252) but the one thats in the m/c is the red one which takes the mains in and out connector and at the end a micro conector with 2 blub wires and the one they have sent is missing the connection for the micro connector but otherwise its identical except colour (cream & black)

is this a modification of can it be fitted? if so what do i do with the blue wires?
its just that ive got the customer booked in tomorrow morning and im going away for a few days so i didnt want to leave her without it working

The correct switch is indeed still red in colour. The micro connection (blue wires) being the neon light connection. No doubt if the switch you have is identical (i.e double pole switch) then it should work albeit without a neon light? 😕

I had this not long agoand it was a packing error. The switch also worked the wrong way round, i.e. it was on when out and off when in.
