    I have recently moved house and found that the Whirlpool oven in it does not work. The grill does work and so does the fan and the light but the oven doesn’t heat up. I think from reading other posts it sounds like the fan element has gone and will need to be replaced BUT I don’t know what the model number of the oven is (and it doesn’t appear to be anywhere on the oven) and if it matters, are all Whirlpool fan elements the same? Can someone help me?

    It does matter I’m afraid if you are trying to do this yourself as there are several Whirlpool fan elements.

    If you ask an engineer to do the repair, generally they will have a good selection on their vans so it should be easy enough. Check the repairs@ link below.:D

    Thanks Dave, I don’t suppose you know an approximate price for this to be repaired do you?

    A really rogh guess as the elements vary a bit as does labour of between £50 and £70 😉
