    Hi

Our Generation 2000 Whirlpool Oven (BSO801/WH) inner door glass has fallen into the door frame (without breaking), managed to retrieve it from the door but am unsure if I can get to the inside of the door to adhere it back together, it looks like the outer glass is bonded to the metal frame – any help advice would be welcome

    Thanks

    Craig

Yeah, the official repair is a new inner door assembly. Maybe need more model details to help though.

Thanks for the quick reply eastlmark – I have given every model/make number I can find & don’t know what else to supply to help

When you say new inner door assembly would that mean I would have to use the existing front glass panel & adhere it to the new?

It looks like the inner door glass is adhered to the inner metal frame then the handle is bolted to the frame then the outer glass is adhered to the frame to complete the door (does this help anymore)

If you remove the door as per the user manual, or have a look at the post at the top of this forum “how to remove oven doors”.

Once you’ve done that, you can seperate the two door sections and reglue the glass to the inner frame after a good clean up to remove all the old sealent.

You can get the stuff here in the shop:

Otherwise it’s a new door inner panel as Mark says, they are around the £40 mark.

    Dave.
