Hi 🙂
Not been to this yet but he says its not freezing it just makes a clicking noise ❓ I have not repaired any of these ones before but its for a friend so I said I would take a look . can anyone give me some info on it

If the clicking is coming from the control board at the back and the compressor is not kicking in then the board probably needs replacing.

If pcb at rear is clicking then the relays have gone – new board.

If the compressor just clicks then new compressor I am afraid. 🙂

Hiya,
If you’ve determined that the board is at fault you’ll need to check the serial number to tell if it requires just the rear board or both. If the first six numbers of the serial are less than or equal to 110330 you’ll need both boards, after this you only need the rear board.
