Whirlpool S20BRSB21 A/G

I have been asked to look at a Whirlpool S20BRSB21 A/G American fridge freezer, the evaporator is choked solid with an ice build up and the relays on the board are chattering good style, i’m not sure if a board will cure or i might need defrost heaters sensors and board, done plenty Hotpoint and Ge ones in my time but not seen many of these, JJ

99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time the rear pcb is all that is required, the chattering is the relayt on the board. I think I have only changed a couple of de-frost heaters. A common fault is also that the bi-metal stat comes apart but the fact that the board is chattering almost certainley means new pcb 9depending on the serial you may need both)

Thanks i’ll pop round tomorrow its a holiday letting company, i do work for the other letting companys in the area so getting this one as well will be a little boost. jj
