Whirlpool S20E RSS2V A/G fan running all the time

The fridge/freezer seem to be working OK but the (noisy!) bottom blower seems to run a lot of the time. Strangely, if I switch the fridge off/on the blower doesn’t start-up again for quite a while. It got slightly better after I vacuum’d all the crud off the heat exchanger but it’s still annoying.
Any suggestions?

It’s frost free, it will run around 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time that the fridge freezer is plugged into the wall and switched on.

If it runs all the time it may well be indicative of a problem with cooling, as in, it is struggling to get down to temperature.

When you chop the power it will take a while to sort itself out. They’re not the smartest appliances on the planet. 😉

Thanks for the reply. It isn’t *all* the time, but because of the noise it’s enough to be irritating. Has anyone succeeded in getting them to make less noise?
