Whirlpool S25B RSS31 A/G American Fridge freezer

I have searched and read many of the posts but just want confirmation that I am purchasing the correct component from uk whitegoods. I have the Whirlpool S25B RSS31 A/G american fridge freezer which is about 7 years old.
The Freezer alarms sounds on a regular basis and 2 hyphens replace the freezer temperature on the front panel.
The ice making has stopped all together but the drinking water is still available (Filter changed 2 weeks ago).
Chattering relays can be heard when the above alarm sounds and the LED’s on the front panel flicker.
The motor/fan sometimes sounds like it is catching.
Pressing the stand-by button or turning the power off resets the above problems but they return fairly quickly.
I have hoovered out all the dust from around the electrical components.
Having read the forum, it appears I need to replace the Rear Control Housing Circuit Board part number 481221778213 at a cost of £149.74 from white goods. I do not want to attempt replacing individual relays. Am I correct in replacing this component?

I was told that Whirlpool modified there PCB’s and that you could not just change one PCB module..this was only on the Earlier models though.
Maybe worth asking the question.

Thanks for the reply but as I stated in my question, I didn’t want to start replacing individual relays. I have now purchased a new rear control housing circuit board and fitted it.
I am so far really pleased because it has solved my problems. No more freezer alarms sounding and the ice making function is now working again.

Hi I have fixed some of these for friends and family. no ice and water not coming out right I fixed the pcb. but the water was still dripping did not know wait to do so for 1 year water only on to make ice then back off . Then I fix my sisters same thing water was dripping . Then my own was dripping water that is when I found out wait was the problem be cause I needed to get a new water pump in my house as there is no pressure from the Maine water coming in to the house when the pump was replaced the water in the fridge worked ok no dripping.

So I hope this can help others
Because maybe others do not know this

By the way you can fix it your self plug out first then ring me I could try to talk you throu it if I can remember or if you live not to far I would do it for you if you have the parts I would help
