    Help would be appreciated:

    Whirlpool Semi Integrated Dishwasher
    Model: ADG6340WH
    Serial no. 854233215710

Water starts fill ok – spray arms working ok.
    Powder disperses ok.
Machine stops after powder is dispersed – small amount of water remains inside.
    On/off button flashes continuously.
Machine empties when on/off button is held down.
Machine will restart but only do as described above – will not go through programmes.

    Any advice?

count the flashes (eg flash, flash, flash pause flash, flash, flash, pause, is f03 heater) its telling you a fault code

if it is a contant flash it might be f01 which iirc is ntc fault.

six flashes is water tap closed. If there is some water going in as you stated it’s more than likely the flow meter.
