Whirlpool Side by Side Baffles not Opening

A friend of mine has a whirlpool Side by Side fridge just a little over a year old its the type with the water and ice discpencer.

The freezer is functioning fine and at normal tempreture but the fridge is hot upon checking the baffles in the top left of fridge do not open.

Any idea’s ?

Is this a PCB fault ? or Sensor fault.

Is there any way to test the baffles / motor ?

you may have a different model, but the baffle/diffuser problem may be similar. good luck, leonips
