A bit of help if possible please Folks.
I have trawled the forum but cannot find the answer to my problem, Whirlpool Side by side F/Freezer. The cooling element in the freezer compartment is freezing solid and it appears the auto defrost is not working, I defrost it manually which last about a month upon which the freezer compartment fan starts to run constantly this lets me know its time to defrost it.
I have replaced the thermostat (http://www.buyspares.co.uk/thermostat-b … =s25brsb31) and the element (http://www.buyspares.co.uk/defrost-heat … =s25brsb31) to no avail. The front and rear circuit boards were replaced about 18 months ago, I have replaced the capacitors on the rear board still same problem. is there a control module for the defrost cycle or is it part of the rear board?.
In between defrosting the unit works perfectly, even the ice and drinks dispensers.
Any/all help greatly appreciated.Model S25B RSB31-A/G
