I have a Whirlpool side by side fridge freezer with 6th sense automatic defrost. It is 8 years old and has a power consumption rating of 1.10kwh per 24 hrs. I have noticed that the refrigerator fan runs almost constantly and that the power consumption is 3 – 4 times what it should be. An engineer has inspected it and says that it is working OK which I cannot accept given the power consumption.
Has anybody got any suggestions?
