Participantgot a problem getting part nos of 2 whirlpool appliances..cant find the service nos on either..theres a washer..big top loader series 8 heavy duty..model 3RGSC9400RLO..ser CT0101035..i need the lid switch for that one..and..theres a tumble dryer..model 3RAWZ481EML3 ser MS4701193..i need the metal door catch thats fitted to the cabinet for that one…any help with the part nos would be greatly appreciated..thanks..tash

The US appliances don’t have service numbers on them 🙂
Lid swich (c/w leads etc) – 481903950298
3RAWZ481EML3 isn’t recognised I’m afraid.

Can you confirm the washer model number, the one you’ve supplied does not show in Whirpool tech info.

the details i have are whirlpool heavy duty 8….mod 3RGSC9400RLO…ser CT0101039…also has on plate sm828115-a…part 8565453 white….on the switch itself it says…ARK-LES PN8318084…11480-61 053551009…hope this helps..thanks

Found it on the Whirpool Uk site but cannot find any tech info. How old is this appliance?
The lid switch you have fits most US washers but there has been a new style switch that has appeared recently. I will email a picture of the switch so that you can decide if it is the correct one.John

hi..complete mystery this one…it doesnt look like that switch either john…the switch we have has a terminal plug on the actual switch..not at the end of a lead..if that makes sense?..any other ideas??..i appreciate your help so far..tash
