Whirlpool Speed Module AWM 822

I need a module for an AWM 822, but machine’s not worth spending £60+ on a new one, have come across a similar one, same pcb, mine’s marked Type a1 D23, this other one is Type A1 D22, what’s the chance that it’ll work? As the actual circuit boards are the same, I can’t see anything bad happening, maybe at worst only one spin speed available or something. Any ideas appreciated, I realise that official advice would be unconditionally, don’t fit wrong part, but I also know that ‘identical’ is not the same as ‘will work’!
