ParticipantHy,I own a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator that keeps freezing over. It doesn’t seem to defrost. The coils freeze over. It has a new mainboard and new display. The defrost heater is new an the defrost thermostat is new as well. The defrost heater can be tested from the mainboard and it works.
I found no label on the side walls just thin code S20E RAA2V-A/G
Someoane came from the service and he does not know what is the problem so I am stuck with a big ice cube maned Whirlpool. Thanks for reading,

Hi
If both front and rear PCB’s have been replaced as well as the heater and the defrost klixon then there is Nothing electrical that can cause it not to defrost unless its a broken internal wire which is unusual.
It should be able to meter the continuity of the wiring from the pcb to the heater ect, But another cause of snowing up of the evaperator is the door cams.
Does your door rise slightly and stay half open and then close on its own if you open it 1/4 way ? as they cams wear and stop the rise and fall of the door ?.

The wireing is ok, I checked it with the meter. I will check the doors today and let you know. The evaperator is freezing more on the lower side then upper side, and is freezing also the drain and then everything is smelling. And on the front side is has a brown thing coming out from time to time. See pictures.

Have you checked the door seal all around for leaks if any air gets in it will frost up.

Yes, the seal seems ok. I bought yesterday a microbian filter because the fridge was running withiut one. Could running without a filter cause the freezer coil to freeze?
