    Whirlpool awm 1400
Customer complained of sticking timer knob and hard to turn. found to be clogged with grease from nearby cooker between facia and knob( a fault I have found quite often) Having cleaned it turned freely but timer now churning for about 15 secs goes quiet 15 secs then churns again but does not progress or start machine. HELP

    Re: WHIRLPOOL TIMER

It sounds like the jamming may have damaged the timer mechanically 🙁

I’d rule everything else out though before condemning it, it’s circa £145 ex VAT list !! 😯

    Dave.
