Whirlpool top loader lid switch.

Whirlpool 3RGSC9400RL1 “American” top loader. Serial no. CT1840173.

I need the part number for the lid switch please. This is the type fitted under the control panel on the left and is held in by a plastic clip (broken off). It is operated by a steel rod.

This machine seems to be available new, but no parts sites anywhere list any spares for it…… :hmm:
Any help to find the part number for the lid switch would be greatly appreciated.

IIRC this same question was asked before a few months back and we never found out a part number. This is a current model machine but there is no info on either SIOS or in the WEEDOC site.

Let me know where the switch is in relation to the lid and I will try and find out more in the morning.

FOUND IT!!! 😀 😀

Part number – 481227618484. Cross referenced it on a UK Whirlpool parts site. Connect list it but don’t stock it at £33 + VAT. I expect this switch is set to be a popular part as the sprung plastic clip that holds it in place is flimsy and cracks.
