Whirlpool toploader fitted pump now no rotation

3LSC8255EQ1. Pump leaking at seal but other wise ok. Fitted pump completed one wash and spin ok. 2nd wash came out wet. called back, The coupling rocks on the gearbox input shaft but motor pumps out water ok and rattling noise when motor should be turning drum. The drum is stiff to turn by hand and the agitator too. Is this how it should be? Am going to replace coupling tomorrow but worried clutch or gearbox have had it.

did one today where the rubber itself ws okay but the spigot had a crack through it which when under load opened up and lost drive .
It will be the coupling .

If there is a siezed gearbox new coupling will break straight away.

Coupling flats rounded off motor end 😀 . Like the stronger replacement with the metal inserts. Had to knock it on with socket. Customer faith restored. Thanks for your help guys.
