    Purchased this appliance last May. Freezer alarm operates with – – flashing warning. I understand this means the temperature in the Freezer has dropped-alarm will sound for about 5 minutes and then normal working temperature is restored. It will do this several times a day.

    Is this a problem? My kitchen can get a bit cold at times. I have not noticed any defrosting of the freezer contents. 😕 😕

    I wouldn’t think a cld Kitchen would unduly affect this to be honest unless it gets really cold.

    As it’s under guarantee still, I would call Whirlpool out to repair it FOC 🙂
