Hi there I have a Whirlpool tumble dryer model number AWZ 220 (070126510068) and it is not heating at all.
When powered up the drum spins and does its forward and reverse cycles OK however there is no sign of the load getting heated.
I have removed the back and checked continuty of the element and all seems OK. There is even a resin encapsulated fuse on the incoming supply which is also OK.

Any idea what might be the problem with this machine?

    Thanks

In almost all cases the problem is that the element (Part No 481225928675) becomes open circuit. The 2 thermostats (Part No TOC36) that are attached are the second most usual failure.

The only other possibility is the exhaust stat (Part No 481227168369)

All can be obtained by emailing your requirements to: spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

:plug: POWER OFF AND UNPLUGGED BEFORE INVESTIGATING PLEASE :zap:
