Can anyone help with this part please??

    Whirlpool Semi-Commercial Dryer Model: 3XLER5435HQ
There are 2 resistors leading to the timer..they appear to drop the voltage for the timer motor which is rated at 120Volts!!

These do not appear on the diagram on SIOS. Whirlpool advised need new timer. Ordered timer guess what no Resistors and still a 120Volt timer motor fitted on new timer!!!

Help!!!! or does any one have a technical helpline number for whirlpool??
spares line obviously advising incorrectly..hence I am the proud owner of 1 new timer that is not required.

    Many thanks

Is there no rating on the resistors themselves, Dave? You can usually track stuff like that down through Radio Spares, Maplins and the like.

It’s actually shown on the wiring diagram as “Resistor 4050-4950”. Is that the US part number, perhaps?
