    Hi all, I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care 2 toploader that I inherited when moving. Every now and then the finished washing is covered in fluff, almost as if a filter has been removed, but I can’t find a filter. :rolls:

    IIRC the problem is related to the soap powder. For this machine you have to use twin tub powder.

    Thanks John for your prompt response, I already use a twin tub powder. Could it be associated with a private water supply ?

    There was another reason for this happening but I cannot recall what it was, I will try and find out.
