Found onljne but in usa wont ship to uk.

I Googled your part number which led me on a wild goose chase to other suppliers part numbers.

Long and short of it yes all the suppliers are USA based however there is an Ebay and Amazon supplier among others who will ship to the UK at a price.

real pain these now. the hotpoint staff have not got a clue about these

did a bit of digging
if you buy the spring from Amazon they want to charge you $38 postage
But
if you buy the switch as well it reduces a lot

I ended up using ‘electrofix’s’ link. With super fast delivery it’s less than £30.00.

I have been trying to repair it over the last few months (after my initial search for part came up as obsolete).

Firstly I crimped a terminal on and secured with a dab of solder. Worked a treat until the metal terminal bent – it wasnt strong enough.

Using Areldite to glue an attachment on didnt last so long though!
