Hi, ive got a USA toploader that is that is giving us major grief, On the synthetic program half way through on the actual timer it says “pause” in the instructions it says it should pause briefley. But it is staying stuck on this and continuosley filling and drainging, the lady is out in the sticks and drains it onto her garden saying this is making a bit of mess, is an
    understatement.

It is less than six months old ive checked the plumbing and changed nearly every part. she has another one next to it on the same plumbing and it is fine.

    Any ideas
Please Help its driving me crazy

Is the drain hose tight in the stand pipe ? if it is a 1 1/2″ stand pipe, the thickness of the drain hose often will cause syphoning action, especially if on certain programmes where cold is intermittently taken in and drained to gradually reduce wash temp so cold rinse doesnt shock fabrics… Also stand pipe should be quite high up…. ?
