whirlpool w/m model HDW6000/WH

customer reports that the machine wont start. took an interlock just in case. fitted it but not the cure( as expected) this model looks an expensive buy. neons display program selected and the door light shows door locked. i have costed a new board at approx £170.00 is it likely to be this board?

steve, thanks for tip, customer says machine less than 18mths old, but used every day…are the brushes likely to wear down so soon?
