    Need new on/off switch part No. 481227618252 for this machine only it is obsolete, even tried Whirlpool direct.
    Does anyone know of a replacement part, as there must be a lot of these machines out there?
    What is the small connection on the back of the switch for, the two blue wires go to the timer?
    Is it for a neon light, as I cannot remember seeing one on the machine?

    Hi, order 481941029004 and that will do the job. The 2 blue wires are for the neon but you won’t be able to connect them to new switch. This switch is off of a dishwasher but has the same fitting.
