Moderatoris it heating
the fault codes on this machine are the combination of lights that are lit. since i can only see one of them and you say none of the others are lit then its fault 8. no heat

ParticipantYeah it’s heating the water with no problem.
Just stops doing the cycle and starts doing those beeps
A few days ago it wouldn’t even let me start any program, automatically went to pause and started the beeping.
Other times pauses at 2h31m, 2h12m, 1h and something, 0h51m
Cheers

ParticipantWell every information i have found talks about errors shown on the display.
I’ve tried opening door and close again also, it resumes and after sometime it pauses again and starts beeping.
For example, pauses at 2h31m starts beeping, I press play after opening door and closing again epping, it resumes but stays on the 2h31m for a lot of time, sometimes even 30mins and then pauses again and starts beeping.

Moderatorsounds like a board problem. This looks like a hotpoint built unit badged Whirlpool. The board on these are no known for reliability plus the fact no one can change them without special tools.
it could be the fact its been plugged in for 5 years as these units go into standby and are not off till you switch off at the wall. The result can be power supplies on the board that cause problems with age
suggest you try another socket as a long shot. Have had faulty sockets cause this sort of thingDave
