Hi folks, came across this fridge freezer a couple of weeks ago. The only thing that does not work is the ice dispenser. I ordered and fitted a front pcb which is what I thought controlled the dispenser, but still no you (just a big hole in my wallet)I assumed this pcb controlled the flap and dispenser as when you disconnect the the user pcb the dispenser flap resets by opening and closing.Any sensible ideas anyone, apart from running away. Is it making ice but not dispensing it ? If so it will be the ice crusher motor part no 480132103237 it is positioned underneath the ice container inside the door

Yes it is making loads of ice, A good theory BUT the ice dispenser does not open either and as far as I am aware that should open regardless of whether the ice dispenser motor is working. Plus I have put a meter on the the motor and there is no power to it when you operate the ice dispenser switch. Regards Neil

The supply for the motor comes from the rear board and is 12v d.c have changed a good few of those motors for that fault

But would that stop the ice dispenser flap from opening up ?? Neil
