hi ..when i run my dishwasher ..after around 45 minutes the washer starts beeping continually ..when the door is opened it is very hot inside(more than normal) and lots of steam ,much more than normal..also the LED is sitting on the rinse setting,as well as the flashing light on the start button…have read similar posts and it seems the NTC may be the problem ..can anyone please confirm or help..thanks

    hi
the light doesnt stop flashing ..it is the light on the start button that flashes, the light that has moved to the rinse setting doesnt flash

    thanks

A continuous flash does correlate to an NTC fault but these are pigs for giving false errors too.

Pragmatically the best way forward is to replace the NTC and try it but expect that you may end up replacing the pcb anyway 😕

Thanks for that …in laymans terms would i be better off replacing the dishwasher ,due to cost of repair ?

…think the ntc is around £40-£50 and the pcb approx another £80

That’s a value judgement…it really depends on age, condition and useage history which is something only an engineer could give having seen the machine……
