    Hi

    I’ve got a Whirlpool AWG 329 1100 integrated washer/dryer. When I set it to normal wash it seems to get stuck at 5 (just before softener/rinse comes on). At this point it makes a noise as if its stuck and trying but not able to move forward. If I manually move the dial from 5 just a bit, it still keeps being stuck. But if I move the dial to just before 7 (final rinse) then it rinses, drains, spins and clothes come out washed fine.

    Any ideas on why this may be happening? and if it is repairable?

    the machine is about 8-10 years old.
