info is a bit confusing
in post you say it wont do any other programmes which sounds like it does some. if so which ?
if it wont go at all then my first look would be heater, brushes and door lock

Sorry for confusion , machine starts on all programs with the same result, so on a 50 degrees cotton cycle is the same as a drain and spin cycle and a drying cycle ie: the door locks runs pump for 10 seconds fills with water and starts tumbling, the same for every program on the dial hope that clears it up Kieran

so 50 degree wash
pump runs, then fills (all the way or just a bit?)
it then tumbles but does it heat ?does sound a bit like a timer prob. have been looking for a picture of the panel but cant find one

Yeah its heating water also , it doesn’t look like its full now that you say it but its covering the paddle if the paddle is at the 6 o clock position

out of ideas now assume it gets to rinse and wont pump out or spin.
have also assumed you have checked for blockages in outlet and sump hose etc and for a failing pump (have you checked to see if the pump coil is overheating some have cut outs ?)
Dave
when its empty does it spin then

Its a merloni machine so if you have checked for earth leakage on the heaters and motor and they are OK I would suggest the module

It wont go into spin , just keeps on going like its stuck on one program takes water tumbles washes same sequence no matter what program is selected i didn’t check pump or motor as they are both working , megger showed no leakage (pat) dunno what to do i guess ill just check all components one by one anyone have motor values

let me get this right
you are saying that no matter where you put the programmer knob it does the same thing
if so may be the programmer switch connect lists it as 5045175606607
litle red switch with a blue stem
am assuming its the programme switch but all its descibed as is selector switchdave

Yes that’s what’s happening could be the selector i spose but why would it turn off in off position , i suspect if it was the selector switch it would bo stuck on one program and not turn off ?
