Any ideas? The central button (no. 2) on the front of the control panel has intermittently given us problems on our 5-yr old oven. Sometimes it wouldn’t work e.g., you set the temperature using the RH rotary dial, but the central button would not confirm the temperature – but after 10 secs, the temp would auto-set. The soft ‘bleep’ as you increase/decrease temperature also packed up a few months ago. But the straw on the camel’s back was last night there was a power outage. The oven display now reads ‘stop’, and of course the central button cannot be used to enter the current time – and therefore the entire oven is disaabled. I’ve isolated the power for several hours, but no joy. Any ideas? Do I need a new Control Unit? or Power Card? I think the Display Module is fine. Any assistance gratefully received! Regards. 8)

central button is mounted on a very flimsy bit of plastic. thus not repairable. get the long number begining with 85……….. and order a new one. oven out about a foor, support it with handy table .POWER OFF. top cover off and be prepared to have a flexible body and patience.
