    Does anyone have a part no for an optical water indicator that sits in the base of the older Whirlpool dish washers? Sorry no model number. Thanks Cras

    If you mean the optical sensor that is neither optical nor a sensor but a membrane and a microswitch behind a black grid then WPL481227128556 is the one. £24+ VAT @ Qualtex.

    Just take it apart and clean it.
