I have had a Whirlpool ADP 4504 Dishwasher which has worked well for about 4 years. However I moved it while having the kitchen re vamped and when I put it back it faulted.
The machine fills ok but then the start light flashes 11 times then pauses then repeats this sequence continually.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

Optical Water Indicator failure. Interesting, it isn’t fitted to your machine….

Have a look in the sump at the 3 o’clock position – there is a black grid, which is the Water level Indicator. It has a bad habit of filling up with congealed fat and jamming. Hot water and a toothbrush may clear it, if it doesn’t, remove the device for better access and cleaning. It’s a twist fit from underneath.

    Power off, first.

Thanks for the advice. I cleaned up the black grid and the dishwasher is now up and running
