    Hi I have a problem with a Whirlpool 3LCED9100WQ1 which is one of the large semi industrial machines. the display is dead which after lots of checking seems to be because of a copper coil which sits between the main PCB and the display PCB. Power goes into it but doesn’t reach the display. Am I right?
    I don’t know what this part is called or if it needs more power to operate for example.

    by the looks of it is may be the auto transfomer that converts 240 to 110v for the board
