Hi gents whirpool that flashes 7 times flow meter can these be changed with out a full side chamber it is a DWFA10 not looked yet is it in same place left side

Yes, it’s the usual. You just need a reed switch. Do a search here if more info needed 😉 .

Anyway, I am very grateful to you guys here for sharing the info and to UKW for providing the platform. I would really have been flummoxed without the info, especially as machine was built into tight corner requiring disconnect and drag out to work on.
My post above states that farnell does free delivery. This is no longer true unless you have a £20 order. RS however are still doing free delivery. It may be necessary to open an account but this is very simple and they never hassle you to buy more! (I’ve spent only about £50 in five years and never had more than one phone call in all that time.)
Reed switch I used is RS p/no. 229-3692. 52p. Delivery by parcelforce next day included in price even if you just buy one.
