Hi guys , after your fantastic help in the Dishwasher dept a few months ago .I was wondering if you could help with a integrated whirpool fridge we have in the house that ‘s motor cuts out straight away ??any ideas oh and guess what the missus threw out the instr manual with the model number on it .
I have stripped it down and the refrig.motor kicks in a soon as you flick the dial from 0 to 1 then cuts out , and will only reset when the cut out switch at the bottle resets??Re: Whirpool fridge “integrated” motor cutting out
Most likely the compressor. Bet the installer didn’t leave any ventilation for the cold air to get in and heat to escape, they’re good at that. 😉
The model should be on the rating plate down by the salad crisper but, if it is the pot that’s chucked it then it’s probably not worth repairing as it’d cost about £200 and it’s not a DIY job at all.
