    Hi

A few weeks ago my fan oven packed up no heat at all, so I replaced the element and there was heat, since then the oven temp seems to never reach 200 and you have to have it on 250 to get any reasonable heat. So I borrowed an oven thermometer and after 40 mins at 250 the reading was 150. At 100 on the dial the thermometre hadnt even moved. The temp light doesnt come on until 200 but the goes off after 10 mins but hardly any heat and it does come back on when you push it up to 250.

Does this sound like the thermostat and if so does anybody have any idea how it is replaced. There are separate dials on the front for grill temp and oven temp…if that helps.

any info would be much appreaciated

    regards

Certainly sounds like a wonky thermostat………

Changing would involve removing the control panel, lid and rear panel – just a screwdriver job really. Thermostat probe will be clipped in place in the oven cavity.

Thermostat is p/no 4819 282 26803, spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you promptly.

    Stay safe, power off first.

Outside panels – it has to come out.
