goin this moro cust says heats up fine till bowt 180 degrees then trips rcd. am thinkin element, strange how it heats up that much then trips, can it be anything else? good 20 mile away. so would like to get done in one visit 😆 help guys 😆

Theres been a few similar queries about ovens heating up and tripping, First time I got one like this, it would trip when heating, when I attended I took the oven out heated up without the door on and nothing.. refitted very next day tripped. new element sorted it, but could find it with a insulation test.

Just wondering if she has a fault on her house wiring breaking down? I had it once on an oven that tripped rcd at 100 degrees…Took me a few goes to disconnect mains at the oven terminal block as soon as it trips and megger the oven. Then quickly do an insulation resistance test on the house circuit via mains lead. I had a live to earth fault that only showwed when oven got up to 100. Hope it helps
