White Knight 83AW won’t run

Our White Knight 83AW won’t run. Power is on but pressing the start button fails to start the dryer. Moving switches and buttons to different settings has no effect.

A similar thing happened last week after the dryer had already been used, but it started later in the day. This time it’s been left unused overnight.

Is there a ‘usual’ cause? Is there an ‘overheat’ switch that may have failed?

There is a little red reset switch on the rear of the machine which resets the TOC.
