White Knight 85AW Front Bearing Pad

I’ve just replaced the rear drum bearing. I had propped the drum but clearly there was some play and while fitting the new bearing I heard something fall. I have found a loose plastic widget under the drum. I’m pretty certain this is one of the two Short Front Bearing Pads part number 4213 077 40952 – it seems to match a part in a photo of the (Seal and Pads) replacement kit .

My question – how do I refit? Must I remove the drum etc or can I get access by removing the front panel? Can anyone offer a running order for stripping down?
