I need to replace the belt and front bearings on this machine.

How do you get the pulley off the motor to remove the back panel. It appears to be secured by a push on clip similar to the ones used on Hoover Logic tacho magnets years ago, can’t see any way of prising the damned thing off. 😕 😳

prize it off then its left hand thread for the fan. if I remember right (might be wrong) you can fit the belt without taking the fan off. unscrew the back pull the drum away from the support enough to pass the belt around the drum and then refit then turn the machine upside down where theres an access panel pull the belt onto the pulley (very tight use the old belt as pulling strap)

    good luck

Thanks, cannot see any way of prising the clip off though. Will suck it and see when the parts arrive.

It definitely won’t come off with suction.

Belt wasn’t to difficult to slip over drum without removing back, however even after fitting the new front bearing pads the drum does not run smoothly. at the back of the drum I can see a large felt seal, are there some rear bearing pads at the back that can wear, quite a bit of movement in back of drum.
