That is the right fan Goose. There’s only one flat, the other side which is sort of flat is a spring clip type thing that locates in to the cut-out on the motor shaft.

Unless the fan you have is badly made of course 😉

Confused? Just did a search on the Masterpart site and the fan I think I want was listed as a Lux part’ Since when did Lux take over Crosslee They came up with a PN DST 50263222007.

Thanks for the reply but I think there is 2 different fans one has a groove in the motor shaft to locate the lugs on the fan the other has’nt i just cross referanced with DST Dvd and as the price is almost double the one I ordererd so thats looks like its the one i need.

    Now I’m confused 😕

I’ve never seen a different type on the standard vented dryers.

The Lux tie up is Crosslee made a few driers for them as well.

DST50263222007 is £4.46 on my Connect system BTW 😉

The DST fan i ordered was also the wrong one so I called Crosslee today who told me that the wrong motor had been fitted to this machine! its a high speed one from a gas dryer. Have ordered from crossly
