If it’s dead dead, having checked the fuse (?), I would look at the door. There is a striker peg on the door which works a switch in the dryer. This acts as a master switch for the whole machine. Over time, heat can distort the peg, so it doesn’t always work the switch. Also, if the door hinge breaks, the door may not sit as it should – again the door won’t work the switch.
Start there and see how you go. Power off if you go inside……. :plug:
