ive got a cl767 condensor and it makes a very LOUD noise when its working. Its like a loud high speed vibration noise. It doesnt sound like the bearings have gone, it drys the clothes fine (so far!)
can anyone give me a clue what it could be before i dismantle the thing
    thanks !

It’s one of the fans I expect currymaker 😉

Power off when checking please :zap:

And if that is the problem, mine’s a Vindaloo 😀

I agree with Dave that it is one of the fans. However it might not be too serious. Sometimes a ‘bounce’ sheet or something similar can get lodged in the fan and send it out of balance. You may be able to see the obstruction in the fan by taking the filter out and looking down the ducting. Remember to pull the plug out of the wall before prodding about.

My CL 767 is doing the same. I removed the back panel, and it seems the fan centre spigot is worn. Found new part on partsmaster £18′ reasonable.
Question is, what way does the bolt holding the fan on undo. Clockwise or anticlockwise? Doesn’t seem to want to move either way.
    Thanks in advance.
