    to replace the drive belt is access via the rear of the machine & does the fan have to come off – if so how!!?

    Looks like the dryers of the vet labs staff are coming out in sympathy. I have just posted my brother a Zanussi dryer jockey pulley. 😉

    I have only done one or two of these. Didn’t remove the fan, removed most of the screws in the back and was then just about able to work the belt down the front of the drum. Small plate underneath to access the motor pulley for refitting.

    It is a bit of a fiddle, perhaps our kid could join you in a joint repair effort. 😆

    Had a bad week my washer has just been written of too!
