I see where you’re coming from, but can’t check until tomorrow. In the meantime, I’ve discovered (as you probably already know) it’s an induction motor and therefore no brushes.
But but why would you get this buzzing sound (and yes, it does sound like the old Mini fan in the cowling from back in the 1960s)? Does the fan collapse? There’s no way for a foreign object to get in because even the base of the drier is sheet metal . . .
