    Anybody know if the drum spider (not bearing repair kit) for the tumble dryer drums is available as a spare part on it’s own ,if so part number and from which supplier.
    We have had three go in the last week !!

    I’ve tried refitting one before but not a great success as the worn holes even when drilled out and fitted with washers and bolts allowed early failure (2-3 months) it would seem thet the spider MUST be specially rivited with those stainless rivets. if the metal was a bit thicker I might have had more sucess or the thing might not have failed in the first place.

    replaced the shaft on one of thses before…..complete waste of time….failed in a sgort time and took ages to repair in the 1st place….just stick with a drumm assy!
